• Plastic Flat Flap Disc,Flap Discs • An excellent disc for stock removal, blending and deburring applications on demanding metals, the Blaze R980P coarse grit arbor thread plastic flat flap disc features a ceramic alumina abrasive grain that outlasts other flap discs by 50 to 200 percent. To maximize grain retention and fray resistance, the disc offers Y-weight polyester flaps with a grinding aid that helps produce fast yet cool cutting. The quick-trim backing plate allows the disc to conform to a variety of surface shapes. Paired with a right angle grinder, this disc is appropriate for super alloys, titanium, and 300 and 400 series stainless. • Type 27 flat flap disc with latest-generation ceramic alumina abrasive grain lasts 50% – 200% longer than any flap discs on stainless steel, cobalt, chrome, Inconel, titanium and other hard-to-grind materials • Y-weight polyester flaps with a supersize grinding aid to significantly improve life, grain retention, and fray resistance while providing a cool, noticeably fast cut rate • Quick trim flexible plastic backing plate offers some additional conformability and sets the industry standard for trimmability • The best choice for coarse grit blending, deburring, and stock removal • Medium 60 grit for blending and deburring
